-Since 2004 every equipment available in schools has a Dual Boot System
-There is a Protocol between the Ministry of Education and the University of Évora for the development of Linux solutions.
-The installation of Linux in the ICT Rooms of every school.
-The promotion and organization of the event " Open Source Software Day in school"
-The distribution of a CD with Open Source Software to all the schools.
-Free availability of Moodle (LMS) and Joomla (CMS).
