We are very excited to have the always inspiring Sydney Sheren returning to Classroom 2.0 LIVE to share her technology passions. Her presentation: "Small Talk about Small Tech" revolves around some of the best technology products and applications for the classroom including virtual reality, Google Cardboard, 3D printing, Pocket and Wacom tablets. Get ready to sit down, relax, drink some tea, and have a nice conversation about some great tech products and how you can get your students more engaged by using them in your classroom.
Sydney is a 10th grade student and currently the Sophomore class President at Westhampton Beach high school. She created and continues to supervise and edit the middle school's newsletter. Her interests in technology led her to be a Keynote speaker at the Student Technology Conference and at the Suffolk ASSET Conference in front of 800 teachers and educators last year. My passion for film making has led her to screen one of her movies at the local movie theater and to attend the New York Film Academy for two summers. This past summer, she attended a program on Leadership and Global Engagement at the Leadership Institute at Brown University. She is inspired to teach others why technology is helpful and how they can easily use it to learn in a quick, easy, fun way.
