We are excited to welcome back one of our favorite presenters for today's show, Letia Cooper (@techwithtia). Her enthusiasm coupled with amazing tips for using the tools, apps and websites she will share with us will make you immediately want to get started using them with your students! Would you like to discover ways for your students to connect, create, and collaborate as they investigate and explore a variety of scientific ideas, models, and concepts! Join Letia Cooper as she shares examples of how to use these tools and discusses easy ways to integrate technology in science classrooms for all grade levels.
Tia is passionate about teaching and learning through technology. She believes that "When technology is integrated into the classroom, all students are motivated to learn." She is proud to offer you a variety of resources and ideas that will help you to integrate technology into your classroom. She is a 1998 graduate of South Carolina State University and a 2008 graduate of Grand Canyon University with a M.Ed in Instructional Technology. She currently works for CCEL (Carolina Consortium for Enterprise Learning) as a Instructional Technology Specialist for grades K-12. Letia has presented at various conferences such as SC Edtech, NCTIES, SCEA Common Core, GAETC & FETC.
