For some public school teachers in the United States, DonorsChoose.org has become a fantastic way to obtain classroom resources. If you have never tried writing a DonorsChoose.org project, or if your project did not fund, this webinar is for you!
Francie Kugelman's passion is helping teachers get their DonorsChoose.org projects funded. She will provide step-by-step details on how to write a project that will get funded, and will also share how you can write projects to help cover your conference expenses, field trip, and visiting artists projects too! To help inspire you to submit a DonorsChoose.org project, Francie will be selecting lucky teachers that will receive $25 donations to their new projects, and will also tell you about $50 and $500 bonus funding opportunities!
Francie Kugelman is a third grade teacher in Los Angeles. She has taught 6th, 5th, and 3rd grade for 16 years. Francie first began using DonorsChoose.org in 2006, and now has funded over 215 projects for her classroom and her school’s organic garden.
Francie is a co-administrator of the Caring Classrooms giving page with Laura Candler. For the past four years, the Caring Classrooms giving page has helped teachers get over 3,680 projects funded, and has raised more than $353,000 in donations for DonorsChoose.org projects!
Francie loves to help teachers get their projects funded, and shares ideas and funding opportunities on the Caring Classrooms Facebook page. She helps DonorsChoose.org by screening projects that are field trips, professional development, and visitor projects.
