In this week's webinar, we are so proud to have Sharon Davison joining us as our special guest presenter sharing information, ideas, and projects that support the Sustainable Development Goals for the world. Although the experiences she will share from #TeachSDGs are primarily related to younger students, the goals and resources she will be sharing are critical for all students and adults, and we know you are going to feel so excited and empowered after hearing Sharon share her passion for the work being done by connected educators around the world. This is relevant to teachers and educators for any age group.
In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 goals for a better world by 2030. These goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone. The Global Goals will be met if we all work together. All over the world actions are being taken to make our planet more sustainable. The #TeachSDGs movement connects with global educators dedicated to responding to a call to action within education to meet the Sustainable Development Goals.
They provide open and accessible resources, lessons plans, and global projects directly aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals.
