Great information here and I hope folks know that that there are wonderful platforms for mobile learning already out there (including smart and cell phones)

MOBL21:
Mobl21 is a mobile learning system that allows educators, publishers, parents, and students to easily create learning material designed to be effective for educational “mobility”. In addition to educational authoring, the system allows the content to be accessed by the learners in multiple “mobile” environments – through an iTunes app, desktop widget, FaceBook/Google widget, Android app (and more coming). The access is through our innovative app model that enables content access even when not connected to the Internet (once the content has been synched).

Mobl21 is the Winner of the 2010 Software and Information Industry Association EdTech Summit Innovation Incubator Award as the Most Innovative Product in Education

see more at www.mobl21.com

Enjoy!
